“I am passing through Wrightwood on my way to L.A. to visit my daughter and staying the night at Grand Pine Cabins. It’s just so happened that the town’s annual festival was taking place at the same time. Pretty cool. Anyway, I was wondering around looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon the Blue Ridge Inn. It was late Sunday afternoon and I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. I opted to sit in the bar area because it was not too busy. I was warmly greeted by every employee and my bartender/server (Michelle - with two l’s) greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel welcome. I ordered a double Woodford Reserve on the rocks (so tasty) and decided on the Salmon with the garden salad to start. The salad had fresh, crisp veggies and their house vinegarette dressing was light and flavorful. The Salmon with raspberry sauce was fresh and really delicious served with a good rice pilaf and fresh veggie medley. Michelle recommended their homemade coconut crème cake for desert and it was simply amazing. Not too sweet or overwhelmed with coconut and so good. It was a huge slice that I could not finish. Michelle’s service was impeccable. I will definitely come here again if the opportunity presents itself!“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat at while in town! The staff is always very friendly and nice and do an outstanding job makeing me feel welcomed. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect with a small town family business vibe, they don't have a lot of space inside the cafe but they have done a great job makeing it feel cozy and welcoming. The food is delicious I had the steak with scrambled eggs with cheese and hash browns for breakfast or all went together perfectly! I would absolutely recommend it. I'll definitely keep coming back and ordering it the next time I'm in town“

“Have only been there a couple of times as I live an hour and a half from there. We always meet a friend of my husband's and his wife. It's the halfway mark of where we live. The food is very good, the service is excellent, as are the Margaritas. I'm sure the atmosphere is much better when it is snowing.“

“Delicious diner spot. I had an appointment in the area and wanted some breakfast before I went. Saw this little spot and decided to give it a go. I ordered the Popeye omelette (spinach, swiss cheese, bacon, added bell pepper and onion,) it was very yummy. It was enough food for 2 people for a reasonable price. My wife had the tuna melt, which she really enjoyed. Great spot to satisfy your hunger.“

“Outstanding food! Came in with mediocre expectations and left with a full tummy and a smile! The chili fries are fabulous and use melted grated cheese and house made chili. the Philly steak sandwich: Thick cut meat and peppers in a toasted bun with tasty fries. Service was perfect for the occasion! The placey began to fill up by the time we left after noon which was surprising for such an off the path location. Would eagerly eat there again if i find myself in the area! Highly recommended!“
