“Beautiful - Historical - Attentive The Ahwahnee is an amazing dining experience, but you pay for it. The food and service was spectacular, however if you are into views of nature, architecture and history, that will blow you away. I ate breakfast there, cheapest meal of the day plus no dress code requirement, I dressed in my best shirt and shorts I had packed, I was dressed similar to most others. (Dress code for dinner) We had to choose the buffet. There was a good amount of selection on the buffet, but I've typically seen more selection, still what they did have was everything you would want and top shelf. If I get the chance to go to Yosemite again, I am going back to the Ahwahnee, maybe I'll bring clothes for the evening and plenty of cash.“

“This isn't just the best food in Yosemite. Might be the best food in any National Park. And this pizza is so good it could be a successful place in most cities in the US. It's THAT good. We went two days in a row and regret skipping the long line the day before.
The menu appears to change seasonally but the Half Dome was so incredible we got it both times. Saw some other pizzas and they looked just as good.
You order at a counter, which is the long line. Wait time can be anywhere from 15-30+ minutes. Seating is limited due to the customer size, but lots of bar style standing areas with enough room to eat on.
If you walk around the back of the building (right hand side of the deck) there are more tables nobody seemed to discover.“

“Best Burger I've had in a LONG time. I can't really say more, but it was juicy, the fried onions were flavorful and the sauce, it was perfect. They use tallow for their fries. If you have kids they can choose something here or in the cafeteria next door. I also thought the prices were not bad, especially for the portions. The salad looked amazing! I'd eat here again. We tried all the restaurants in Curry village and they were all pretty good, this burger was my fav. The pizza, which can feed an army, that was also amazing next door.“
