“We've had the buffet lunch here many times over the years. Ten years ago it was great, for a while it was just okay, and now it's back to being great! On June 21, 2025, there were three meats offered - a BBQ pulled pork, roast beef, and chicken. I recommend the chicken, which was excellent. The BBQ pulled pork was good. The roast beef was just okay, but really perked up if you ate it together with the BBQ. The salad was really good. The peach cobbler with cream was absolutely delicious!

You don't have to have ridden the train. They serve walk-ups too. I think you need $20 cash per person.

If you have time (more likely if you rode the train from Chama), be sure and check out the historic structures and interpretive signs. Of particular interest is a little museum you can go in (it *should* be unlocked).“
