About Angelo's

Angelo's is a highly regarded restaurant in Aspen known for its excellent service, beautiful setting, and delicious seafood dishes. The restaurant offers a sophisticated and beautifully designed atmosphere that creates a welcoming and elegant dining experience. Guests consistently praise the attentive and friendly staff, with some mentioning staff members who go above and beyond to make diners feel like family. The service is polished and seamless, contributing to a memorable visit.

The menu features a variety of standout dishes, particularly seafood like the lobster linguini and octopus, which receive high praise for their quality and flavor. The pulpo is noted as tender and well-balanced, and the seafood overall is a highlight. Pastas are also appreciated, especially the lobster pasta, which is considered excellent. However, some pastas like the Fusilli Mamma and beef short rib ravioli show inconsistencies in pasta texture and seasoning, respectively. The tableside cacio e pepe served from a parmesan wheel is a fun and popular addition, though some find the flavor uneven. Appetizers such as burrata and carpaccio are described as outstanding, fresh, and delicately balanced.

Portion sizes vary across dishes, with some being generous enough to share and others smaller, which can be confusing without guidance from staff. Pricing is on the higher side, reflecting the quality and service, but many consider it worth the cost. Guests appreciate the memorable dining experience, especially for seafood and pasta, and note that the restaurant maintains a level of consistency and hospitality that keeps them coming back.

Overall, Angelo's is a top choice in Aspen for those seeking a refined, friendly, and delicious meal, with some minor inconsistencies but a strong reputation for quality and service.

This is your 5 star with classic, real family ties, food. The service is always above what you would expect. You still see chef Angelo. Menu items have family roots. Fresh is always key but the food is hand selected. Pistachios from certain regions. Pork chops of a specific type. Prosciutto aged 24 months. Top notch!
