This has always been a favorite of ours, when in town. We had a reservation and had to wait 30 mins, while a couple of people who they clearly knew were asked where they wanted to sit and were seated ahead of us. The service has always been exceptional but it was terrible last evening. Water never refilled on the table. We asked several times for side plates for shared dishes. Disappointing experience for a steak house. Steak served somewhat cold and worse on STONE COLD PLATES. How do they even think of that? Even when we asked for hot dinner plates they seemed unfamiliar with that way of serving steak as to keep it hot when eaten. Service was confused and lacking overall. Won't go back there as they comprehensively misunderstand what a good steak experience entails.
This restaurant is amazing! We chose this restaurant for our Anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful fall day and it was truly the best meal we had in Aspen. We highly recommend the Waygu beef flight done table side. Chef's kiss!
