“’m always looking for some place different to eat, to stay, to do, when we travel. I’m not sure how I even found this restaurant but I’m sure part of the attraction was a black owned business in Aspen. MAWA’s Kitchen is like striking gold in the mountains of Colorado. Every dish was excellent, from the Brussel Sprout Caesar to the Two Roots Sautéed Greens, pure heaven in your mouth. For our entrees Conrad chose the Red Snapper. It was served on top of some Zaalouk, which is a Moroccan salad of cooked eggplant and tomatoes. Delicious. I chose the West African Gumbo. The flavors meshed together perfectly and had a little spicy Andouille sausage to kick it up a notch. The servers were great and they even gave me a dessert for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this for a great dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for brunch today, another excellent meal. Got to meet Mawa. Such a great place. And the servers are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️“

“This is a really excellent dining experience . The room and ambiance are great; Nicely decorated, well laid out, great sounds and sound level. They've fit a lot tables in the space, but you don't feel crowded. The staff are really busy, but move through the space expertly, without creating any sense of rush or urgency. In fact the service is friendly and attentive. The food was served at the pace we expected and was excellent. Everything about the evening brings a smile to my face.“
