The Boat Tow Reviews
Fun, local spot with good food, nice patio and reasonable pricing (by Aspen standards). Our server Missy was fabulous!
I had my first experience at Boat Tow last night and it was amazing! I am crushed it's going to be closing at the end of August. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. Our server could not have been more gracious and friendly, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, Aspen is expensive and I'm sorry the operating company, Gravity Haus is unable to continue operating to in our town due to the high cost of doing business. A huge loss.
I am plant based, so was happy to see ONE vegan option in the menu for me and my husband. Would love another choice. I had the mushroom tacos. VERY spicy peppers (for me) and would prefer a corn tortilla option, but overall tasty and healthy(ish) service was excellent.
The Boat Tow is a popular spot in Aspen, known for its great food and friendly service. The menu features tasty options like hot brie cheese and prosciutto, along with classics such as a solid burger or chicken sando made with good ingredients at a reasonable price. It’s a perfect place for lunch or aprè ski. The staff is attentive and welcoming, making sure guests feel comfortable. Desserts are also worth trying, and the cozy atmosphere encourages repeat visits. The restaurant recently gained praise for its flavorful dishes like lamb bolognese and mushroom tacos, with options for different dietary preferences, including vegan choices. Despite its popularity, the location faces high operating costs, and many are sad to see it closing soon.
