My drink was really good. The coffee was strong and fresh. My colleague purchased the tea, which is brewed to order. They were a bit busy in the morning but that is expected. However, they did move pretty quickly. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, but I would return for the coffee when in town.

I had a pretty shitty experience with ordering at the counter and have not wanted to go back since. The coffee was ok, definitely not worth the obnoxious experience w the staff though.

Food and coffee were excellent. The place was crazy busy but they had a great setup and got through the line quickly. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Visiting Boxcar is like sneaking out back and taking a smoking break- it feels really good, a little decadent and offers a slightly altered reality for a sweet moment. Best Chai and Gluten Free goodies in town. Go!! It will not disappoint!

Glad to see they filled the space nicely after the other shop that shared the space left, and love Boxcar’s pastry/coffee quality 🙂

Also, made to order sandwiches are so much better!

30 minutes in line is just too silly. I don't go to Disneyland either

Great service and cafe. The pastries are to die for. The fresh tea is captivating. The only thing is-boxcar is popular and lines can be long.

Boxcar is so delicious, that we started a run group every Tuesday to go pastry pace. One of my favorite places in boulder. The seasonal Black Velvet is one of the best drinks ever made.

Pastries are easily some of the best in town and I have been a fan of this roaster / cafe for a while.

The new sandwiches are pretty mediocre compared to the shop that previously shared the space with Boxcar, and the layout updates do not feel intentional, so now the coffee shop doesn’t have the cool vibe it once did where the single bar was a clear focal point. Even the sign looks pretty meh / you can see where the Daedalus one was.

The Table Mesa location is much better.

For the reputation Boxcar has in town, it was pretty surprising to see how rushed their reno seems.

Was recommended this place by a stranger and it was actually so good coffee. Just did cold brew with the cardamom rose syrup and is was very tasty. Cute spot but had my dog so I couldn’t sit inside but it looked nice! Will go back to do some work it was a good vibe

Best espresso in town. Tried their single origin and it was perfectly pulled. Staff was courteous. And great place to hang if you need to get some work done.
