On August 1, 2025, four of us fished in Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, guided by Charlie and Branden. We caught over a dozen Brookies and Browns in the Fall River and the Big Thompson River, while also learning dry-fly techniques and how to read mountain streams. The breathtaking scenery, paired with their expert, friendly instruction, made this an unforgettable adventure. Charlie and Branden felt like mentors, creating memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime.
This shop is the best fly fish shop in Boulder County. This group is helpful, welcoming and feels like family.

Amber, a guide who grew up in Boulder, is a natural teacher, very friendly, and highly knowledgeable about the rivers and local area. She has helped clients catch fish like Cutthroat, Brookies, and browns, even on busy days in Rocky Mountain National Park. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff, the beautiful views, and the fun, supportive atmosphere, making Front Range Anglers a top choice for flyfishing in the Denver area.
