A comfortable outdoor bar with a unique vibe --- feels like a hidden bar but it's out in plain sight for anyone who walks by. Has a large selection of drinks on tap, including a few non-alcoholic. Be forewarned: the Barrel does not sell any food, though they sometimes have a food truck.
Super-convenient location for anyone visiting or working at the mall, and the tap list is extensive with something for everyone. Plenty of table space for gaming or just hanging out, too - a very laid-back spot with great service.

I'm new to Boulder and by new, I mean I arrived yesterday. Just got back from what could only be described as a gala. So trust me when I say this, "the barrel" is THE place to be. Your pre game bro. Let it's disarming ambience sooth your senses into oblivion. Whoever said ignorance we bliss, probably has "the barrel" to thank for inspiration. No seriously, the hosts are amazing.
