Canon City MUGS is a friendly and welcoming bar that offers a variety of tasty menu options. The staff is attentive and helpful, and they go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. The breakfast and Florentine Benedict have received high praise, with the eggs cooked to perfection. Other popular dishes include fish and chips, Mahi fish tacos, shrimp appetizers, and the BLT. Customers have also enjoyed the house salad and the great drinks. The menu features an excellent selection of American dishes that are always perfectly good, making Muggs a reliable choice for a satisfying meal. The ciabatta burger is especially praised for its umami flavor, with a nicely toasted, soft ciabatta bun and a well-cooked patty. The chicken fried steak has a crispy exterior and tasty gravy, while the fish and chips are considered "perfect" by some. The poke bowl offers a diverse range of flavors, and the chips and guac are popular starters. Overall, Canon City MUGS provides an enjoyable dining experience, and both locals and visitors appreciate the friendly service and solid food options. An unassuming looking restaurant/diner located in a tiny strip mall, it gives off small country diner vibes with booths and tables. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. Burgers were big, cooked to order, with all the accompanying veggies, and the best sweet potato fries. The meatloaf was very tasty, hearty and served with a double order of bite size broccoli. Appetizers like prime rib sliders, quesadilla, and onion rings came out hot. Onion rings were lightly breaded perfectly cooked along with dipping sauce, they were very good. The Prime rib sliders were awesome, lean thin sliced with a horseradish sauce drizzled on them. The quesadilla was cheesy and a generous portion with guacamole and pico. Breakfast burritos are pretty good. Berry pancakes are a favorite. The bathrooms are clean.
