“Cafe Ambrosia is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant! I usually go during lunch and always order the orange chicken with brown rice and hot and sour soup—it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor.
I used to live nearby, and anytime I’m back in the area, this is the only Chinese restaurant I go to. The service is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.
One thing I really love is the lunch specials—they give you big portions compared to other places, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food with great service, I highly recommend Cafe Ambrosia!“

“I always try to support the locally owned family restaurants. This place was decent for the price and again I'm happy to pay up a bit for a local restaurant. Let's start with the positives - the hot and sour soup was outstanding. I loved that they brought out tortillas and rice for my plates. Finally the service was amazing. He was friendly and attentive. The only issues I had were with the food. - The options were fine but Mongolian food is all about the flavors and it was impossible to get flavors with the options provided. The first issue is that there were no dry flavor options at the buffet area - seasoning, salt, pepper, bbq seasoning etc.. The other option is that the sauces were watered down so no flavor was discernable aside from the chili oil which was excellent. I'll be back to support for sure but I'm really hoping the owners read this and the other reviews I see here and upgrade your sauces. A good sauce makes up for everything else sometimes.“

“Wonderful food, great service! I ordered the Green Curry and Basil Rice (with chicken). Both dishes were delicious and the delivery was received earlier than the time frame communicated. I appreciated not having to go through Grubhub, DoorDash, or other pricey services. Spice 8 will be my new go to restaurant!“

“Great lunch specials! Don't let the inside deter you.
I got the Egg Foo Young lunch special. Very delicious for only $11 it comes with 2 scoops of rice, 2 egg patties, an egg roll or 2 wontons (the correct choice), and soup (I got egg drop. Not a lot of egg but I'm not picky!). They did give me plasticware that was dirty but I'm from the south so I just wiped it off.“

“Had a party of 4, not having eaten here before we all ordered individually when we could have easily shared a meal between two persons. The food was good and the only drawback was the length of time for service. I recommend you try it. Prices surprised me,so affordable.“

“Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. We chose this place near our hotel because we were intrigued by a mention of Hong Kong French toast. We have all learned to judge Chinese restaurants by one common dish. I judge based on the wonton soup which blew my mind. One friend judges based on the steamed rice which was perfect. Another judges based on egg drop soup which was perfectly flavored and balanced. We ordered Ginger lamb, Szechuan beef brisket and pork and eggplant. We shared and compared and all were mind blowing. We could feel the influence of of either someone's grandma or a Michelin star chef in everything that came out of that kitchen. We ended the meal with Ice cream covered Hong Kong French toast and it did not disappoint. Before we left we were all planning our return.“
