“I should have taken a picture but I ate the food too fast. It looked and smelled delicious and let me tell you it was sooooo delicious also. I ordered the family #1 meal 👌 great choice. The young Man Enrique, who took our order, was amazing and had the best customer service. He took the time to show the serving sizes and was very respectable, patient, and great hospitality, which is uncommon these days with these youngins, so I will definitely be back. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long to try.“

“Last month by accident, I ordered my food to a panda in New Mexico. When I called the new Mexico location to request a refund, they told me they couldn't help me. I needed to wait 3 days. So I went to this location, and one employee (I think the manager) was able to help with every step to get money back.“

“Please note this review is about the CHEF'S COUNTER EXPERIENCE, which they make a point of saying is separate from the main restaurant experience.
To be honest, I was pretty disappointed. The meal (two tasting menus plus two wine pairings) came out to $700 and it simply wasn't worth it. Part of the issue is the 22% service charge which they include automatically. I already don't like when 18% service charges are included automatically. 22% is obnoxious.
The service was very good, but not good enough to pay that much for. The food on the other hand was OK. I give the dishes an A- or B+ on unique and interesting. But some were too salty, and the overall flavors just didn't wow me enough to warrant a $700 price tag for dinner for two. The wine pairings were excellent though, and they served some very good and interesting wines.
I'd like to try the normal restaurant at some point, but wouldn't do the chef's counter experience again.“

“The food and service today was amazing! Everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The weekly dessert option was the perfect finish to the incredible meal and fantastic beer and cocktail selection. The scallion pancakes were my favorite. The noodles and fried rice with corned beef need no description. Once you try them it’s pretty much understood you WILL be back for more. I always find either the atmosphere, food, or service to be one of the stars of the show when visiting a new restaurant but honestly there was no way I could pick what this restaurant did best. The staff is welcoming as soon as you step in the door and helpful with any questions. It’s small but cozy and very clean. Whoever came up with the concept and menu is a genius. The decorations are perfect and the counter service with food and beverages delivered makes ordering easy. One of the top 5 Casual dining experiences I’ve had yet.“

“Fantastic dim sum, my favorite thing I ate was the pineapple bun. I also really appreciate the tea that was served. The presentation and that the waiter constantly topped up the hot water was very nice.
I also appreciated how dim sum was served from the menu. Oftentimes dim sum can be served from a cart that's rolled around the restaurant, but having a menu made it easy to ensure we were able to try everything we wanted.“

“This place exceeded all expectations. We ordered the sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, egg drop soup, crispy dumplings, and received free crab cheese wontons for spending $30+. The portions were so large we could have made plates for 6 people. Well worth the money and everything was delicious. This is the best Chinese I've had in Denver!

“I could not recommend this place more. Not only was the food fantastic the service was impeccable. I came in with my service dog and party of 8; they managed to serve us all equally without fail. we tried about 8 items in total and they were all fantastic. An amazing spot!!“

“We ate at this mom-and-pop shop for Saturday lunch. We ordered the duck, chicken, and roast pork combo; half a pound of crispy pork; shrimp chow fun; and garlic sauce bok choy. Service is quick and to the point, but friendly and welcoming. Our food was high quality and honestly the prices were hard to believe they were so good. Everything was full of flavor and the portions were large. We did dine-in and our food was served in to-go containers but not bagged like takeout orders. Bottled beverages are available. There was a busy line the whole time we were here. I would definitely go back.“

“The entrance is a little hard to find, due to the main stairs being blocked off, but if you go around the building by the dumpster there is a hidden staircase. As soon as you walk in, the lights are down low, but the atmosphere is very familiar, and calm. The service is excellent, i was treated with love and care, and the food was most definitely made with love. The food was more than delicious, and i love how the woman always checks up on the costumers. Great restaurant for a first date, or a calm meal and conversation. 5 stars.“

“We were so surprised about how good this place turned out. Our waiter was so good and knowing about allergies very well. He helped us getting gluten free food, because the menu doesn’t have allergy symbols. Food and drinks were amazing. Everything worth their prices. We will totally go back ?

“Dragon Boat has been around for me since 2005. I'm not sure when the restaurant actually opened, but I can honestly say that this is a local restaurant that I've gone back to over an over.
The kitchen seems to have stepped up its game in recent years, and I can say that each different dish I've ordered in the past year or so has been delicious.
The sushi bar is up to par, and I appreciate the chefs paying attention to special requests on orders.
Thank you Dragon Boat for being a local gem!“

“Great Chinese cuisine! We had the pork soup dumplings, steamed bao, and shao mai, which were all extremely delicious and freshly made. I'd recommend this place to anyone with a craving for dumplings. The restaurant is very cozy with nice music. Worth the drive if you're far out!“

“This place honestly shocked me and beat every expectation I had about HK food in Denver. This pretty much was a 10/10 chinese food and cantonese dim sum in Denver and a solid 8/10 even compared to LA cantonese food. I was so shook by the bakery items and the dryness and flavor of the fried rice.
They're lovely and sweet, and I loved having some cantonese veggies and dim sum that met every bar.“

“Fast casual and fine
Bangkok balls: 3/5 - Just much more bland than I'd have expected, but I enjoyed the texture. Listed as spicy, but mild at best
Ants on a tree: 4/5 - It was good, though it was begging for a fork. I'm mid with chopsticks, but these were so hard to eat and not get messy. Also listed as the same level of heat as the Bangkok balls, but this was probably a 3/5
BBQ pork shoulder: 6/5 - This is the reason to come. It was absolutely delicious both on its own and with the sauce. One of the best things I've had
Waffle with ice cream and peanut sauce: 1/5 - We were excited for this, but they just slapped an excessive amount of a savory and bitter(?) peanut sauce on top of a waffle with ice cream. It was so beyond overpowering that we couldn't take more than a bite or two
Theres also the request to tip right after you order, defaulting at 15-25%, but the server just brings food over to you. It's a weird mix of fast casual and sit down dining“

“Not only was my take out experience INCREDIBLE, the women helping me was so so sweet and the place looked so clean, but our food was genuinely have never been so impressed by such a hole in the wall spot. “The atmosphere here was great, the staff was phenomenal, but the food was just okay. Our servers kept our water glasses full (this is a huge pet peeve of mine and our water genuinely never made it below half full) and were friendly. I would absolutely recommend the chicken and shrimp dumplings and the lo mein, but I would avoid the bok choy. I am a bok choy lover, but this is essentially a large portion of flavorless, boiled bok choy stems in an equally bland broth for $15. I will say, when we brought this to our server’s attention, they did remove the dish from our table and our bill with no problem, which we really appreciated. The chicken wings are literal perfection, but the sauce they come with was oddly refreshing for chicken wings.“

“My husband and my favorites are stir fried black noodle(쟁반 짜장), sweet and sour pork, and shrimp gganpunggi. We were so excited to find real authentic Korean-Chinese restaurant in Denver! Thanks to Paik Jong Won! Only suggestion we would like to make is that you should NOT put tortilla chips in gganpunggi. We get plenty of chips when we go to Mexican restaurant. When we go to Korean-Chinese restaurant, we want to enjoy true authentic Korean-Chinese dishes.“

“The restaurant itself is a bit modest and don't expect a fancy ambience. Disposable cutlery and simple furniture, but clean and homely. The food is phenomenal. I felt like I ate at someone's house. The ingredients were healthy and the preparation was also excellent. Not oily or salty, all the flavors were balanced. Extremely vegan friendly. We ordered mapo tofu without meat, stir fried broccoli, and veg lo mein. Everything was excellent. Owners were friendly. Seemed like a small family run place. Reasonable prices and huge servings. We had enough leftovers for next day's lunch.“

“Hidden gem that's for sure. We didn't order anything on the American menu, but the items we ordered on the Chinese menu were amazing. We got the dry fried green beans, chive pork and shrimp fried dumplings, and the guo bao rou. Everything was so good and I can't wait to go back.“

“It's really awesome. When outsiders come to Denver, they are very cautious when eating Chinese food because they often step on the wrong side of things. I found this one after searching on a certain platform for a long time! Sure enough I was not disappointed. The most important thing is that the food tastes great! The two kinds of boiled water are particularly good! The boss is also very nice! There is another detail. When I placed the order, I carefully observed that their tip was calculated before tax! In this era of inflation these are the little details that make this restaurant feel really special to me. Will recommend it to everyone who comes to Denver! Thank you boss! I wish the boss a prosperous business!“

“Without a doubt my favorite Chinese Spot in the area. Super fast service, flavorful food, and great prices. This isn’t the average plastic $.99 Chinese food. They’re also one of the only places still serving actual fried egg rolls, making Lotus the king of Chinese side dishes. Always very friendly, too.“

“The atmosphere was calm and inviting, offering a peaceful respite from the usual hustle and bustle. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or quiet conversation. Our waitress was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to provide detailed information about the menu and ensuring all our questions were answered with patience and care.
This level of attentiveness and personalized service is rare and greatly appreciated. It’s clear that The Dating Yummy takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for its guests.
For anyone looking for a cozy, tranquil dining experience coupled with outstanding service, I highly recommend giving this small business a visit. It’s a hidden gem in Aurora worth supporting!“

“Yup, wanted to mix things up and try a new place out. We landed on Li's after reading some online reviews. We're very happy we found this place. In my youth I spent a couple summers as a waiter in an upscale restaurant in a resort town, the whole point of mentioning this is it's difficult for me to shake looking at specific details when dining in a new place. Some things that draw my attention: does the silverware have spots, are the drinking glasses smudged, are the menus worn or do they have food splatter on them, do the plates look worn. I know, totally nitpicking here, these are things you might evaluate in a finer dining establishment. But, Li’s checked all the boxes here, no complaints, in fact I was impressed. To echo what others have written, the service is quick but it’s not rushed. We were happy to see they were busy with at least half a dozen other tables being served, on a cold Tuesday night! Lots of great veggies in our dishes, cooked the way we like them, still crunchy and flavorful and the portions are very generous. Li’s appears to have been able to figure out how to stay successful without resorting to the standard pricing increase we see in other restaurants of this type, nor have they succumbed to shrinkflation. We’re looking forward to sharing this with friends.“

“This place rocks!! They make amazing chicken hibachi and it's perfect every time:)p.s. If you're doing take out, just stop by to order instead of online... it doesn't take long for them to make things and grubhub rips off restaurants just for the service of online ordering:(“

“They have a healthy section on the menu where everything is steamed and then you just add a little bit of sauce afterwards to the degree that you want. Fantastic if you're on a diet or restricting certain food intake. I have an allergy to garlic and onion and they are willing to work around this.“

“Do yourself a favor and order the scallion pancake, as well as the cheese wontons. Both are winners, but the scallion pancake is the champ.

We officially have zero complaints, and we'll be back for takeout soon.“

“This place has the best food!!
We have tried 5 Chinese places since moving here- this has the best tasting food, and way better prices.
Totally recommend the Kung Pau Chicken
This is everything I got for $25 dollars.

Bathrooms are gross- so we do take out.“

“Only "dollar a scoop" chinese food place I trust in Denver, and I found that out the hard way. I always get the chicken Lo Mein, honey chicken, and sesame chicken; food is always fresh, environment and food is clean, portions are GENEROUS - easily double a Panda Express "plate", and damn-near unbeatable prices. Highly recommend.“

“Classic neighborhood Asian food for a crazy affordable price! I had a low mein plate with Szechuan beef, and broccoli and beef for under $7. The staff were so wonderful! The spread is great, plenty to choose from for every palate. Absolute diamond in the rough, tucked away inconspicuously in Commerce City. Definitely stop in and get a takeout plate, and see what I mean. I'll definitely be back for one. Thank you all for a wonderful meal and fantastic service ❤️.“
