“Love this place so much! I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they source locally as much as they can. We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!“

“we went on Easter Sunday, it was very quiet, so the service was impeccable. we are British tra lingerie fir 3 weeks. we have stopped ans eaten in alot of different places and the grilled cheese sandwich here is the absolute bomb. gorgeous food and excellent service. highly recommended.“

“We’re currently visiting my sister and her family in Colorado Springs, and decided to eat brunch together here. I was beyond impressed! My 2 year old (who will be 3 next week) has multiple food allergies. Normally going out to eat is a tough experience. Our server was so nice and when I mentioned allergies her response was “oh we take food allergies seriously, let me make sure that item is a safe food.” Not only was it the very first time he was able to order off of a kids menu (normally we feel lucky to get him one or two items ale carte), but the food came out with a “ALLERGY” flag in it which made us all feel safer about him eating it. He loved the meal, no allergic reaction, and the service/wait staff was FANTASTIC. I can’t wait to go back the next time we visit. 🥰“

“The menu had names that made it a little hard to decipher what you were ordering at times. The Sassy was a ton of food and delicious but greasy and messy. The biscuits and gravy were disliked by the 3 of us who tried them. The breakfast burrito with the same gravy on it, however, was enjoyed by the person who ordered it and is also a quite large portion.“

“Walking into this dining room was like walking into a 1950's ballroom! There are chandeliers, gorgeous wall paper, beautiful wall paintings, a winding staircase, valets, busboys, and a host of individuals all ready and available to serve your every need. Oh, and an exit to a view of the lake surrounded by the mountains. Once you enter the dining area, there are neverending stations such as a breakfast station with a chef creating made to order omelettes, two desert stations, a prime rib station, and seafood station with shrimp, crab, oysters, and even sushi! This was an absolutely unforgettable experience.“

“It seems like it wasn’t that long ago Colorado Springs had 7 or 8 Village Inns and now we’re down to just the two. Fortunately, the one on Duryea is close to our house so we still get over there a couple times a month for breakfast. They just finished a remodel and we like what they’ve done. It seems like it’s more open, with an increase in seating capacity, new tables, chairs, and booths, along with new flooring. We’ve heard some people aren’t thrilled, but we are fine with it. The food is still good, as is the service. On this visit my wife got the Country Music Star Omelette, but substituted green chili for the sausage gravy. I ordered the Ultimate Skillet with a side of green chili. We both thought our selections were very good, and the portion sizes and prices still seem reasonable. I think we’ll both be happy that we still have a Village Inn close by and that they’re trying to make it better, instead of complaining. So yeah, we’re recommending the Village Inn on Duryea!“

“This is a phenomenal place to get some excellent food, as well as beverages. The pancakes are delecible, I can see why they're voted as the best in the Springs. I highly recommend their Swedish butter...it is butter with lingonbeeries, a staple in that part of the world. The ice for their iced coffee? It's frozen coffee! I've never seen that before. This is the default location when I have weekly meetups with a good friend.“

“This location is clean outside and inside. We've gone to this location multiple times and have never had an issue. The workers are all kind and quick to offer any assistance. The food has been great each time we've gone. Each time we've gone, it's been quiet. Not a lot of people. So, very nice overall.“
