Excellent meal and service at The Summit. Another very good Broadmoor restaurant. Very reasonable cocktail prices. Our server, Meaghan, was great and told us the chef was very good at Peruvian cuisine. We tried the Peruvian Ceviche on her recommendation and were not disappointed - it was delicious! For our entrees, we truly enjoyed the roast duck and mushroom pot pie. The side heirloom tomato salad was a perfect choice, and the tomatoes were very flavorful. while the food was good, I was definitely underwhlemed by the portion size on my aglonotti dish compared to my friend's paella and then a chicken/rice dish (yes, different dishes but when I'm paying that price, it was underwhelming!). I would definitely recommend the profiteroles for dessert as well.
Started with the Mussels which were some of the best that I have had. This was followed by the Pan Roasted Filet Mignon. Excellent, but not as wonderful as the Bangs Island Mussels. A special thanks to Voit, our waiter who was great throughout the evening.
