The food was okay, there was a wait although there wasn't many people. The menu online and in person were very different due to new owner. I'm vegetarian and there wasn't many options.
Everything was perfect. The service, the food, and the drinks. The only thing that needs addressed, is there online hours posted on Google. Google states they close at 9pm, where actually they close at 8pm. I went on a Sunday at 6pm, to find them closed, where Google states they close at 10pm, this is very upsetting.
Hacienda Villarreal offers an authentic Mexican dining experience with great food and friendly service. The menu features dishes like chicken fajitas, queso fundido, fish tacos, and a chicken burrito smothered in green chile. Customers praise the fresh, non-greasy ingredients and the homemade tortilla chips and salsa. The restaurant also provides a 10% military discount and has an "authentic Mexican feel" to its atmosphere. The food is delicious and made with love. Customer service is warm and attentive. The molcajete Guadalajara is great, and the carnitas plate is delicious. Tres amigos enchiladas are great, and the margaritas are delicious with amazing flavor. They have Mexican beers and many types of tequila shots. Hacienda Villarreal has a kids menu. Alejandro, the owner, personally served guests. The atmosphere is comfortable and perfect for reunions with friends and family. They will have music on Saturday.
