Food was extremely expensive and tasted awful.
Place is fine other than the black lady comes up and screams in your ear. I understand your letting people know thier coffee is ready, but when someone is standing right there DONT YELL RIGHT IN THIER EAR.
Horrible service. I stood there while they made my drink and they put it to the side and it just sat there. They did several drinks and I finally went up and asked if my drink is ready. There response was we will call it out when it is ready. It was ready 10 minutes before I approached. Another person walked by picked it up and handed it to me. No sorry no apology.

The shop is often busy early in the morning, with long lines that can reach up to 25 people, making it difficult for airline crews and commuters to get their coffee quickly. Many customers suggest opening a second location or creating a separate line for coffee-only orders to improve service. The White mocha espresso is generally good, but the raspberry danish tends to be tough and day-old, and pastry availability can be limited, with more items listed than in stock.
While the staff remains friendly even at 4:30am, some customers feel that the use of a super automatic espresso machine affects the quality of drinks, noting that a nearby Rancillio 2 Group Machine could produce better espresso. Overall, Pikes Perk is a reliable spot for coffee, but improvements in line management, pastry options, and espresso quality could make it even better.
