Ordered through the app and pulled into the drive thru. Told to wait in the standby parking spot. Waited nearly 20 minutes to get only part of my offer and had to wait for them to make the rest of my order. Fries were just about cold and nuggets were chewy (otherwise known and stale). If there is plenty of people being directed to park, one would assume the food must be coming out fresh. Not the case.
Just know you’re not getting fast food at this McDonald’s. They park you know matter what. I order cheap, quick things just to hopefully avoid getting parked. Still get parked for 7-10 minutes! Don’t come here if you’re looking for a quick option to get back onto the road.

This McDonald's in Colorado Springs is a standout location. It boasts a clean, neat environment with a beautiful view of the mountains, especially from the playplace area. The crew is efficient and friendly, making it worth the extra drive. Kid-friendly with an aircraft-themed playplace, it also offers wheelchair accessibility, though the drive-thru is the best option. Parking is ample and convenient for small trailers. Food is okay, but the restaurant isn't horrible. Food is always fresh. The workers are always nice and fast service. The food is also better tasting here somehow, and the place is kept very clean.
