“We have never had bad food at Mi Mexico. Everything is delicious. The owner is always on site- cooking or greeting guests. The restaurant is very comfortable and decorated well. There is a large enclosed porch and a garden deck for summer dining. Always great service! By far the best Mexican Restaurant around Montezuma County!”

“Stopped in for a dinner to celebrate being back in Colorado and I'm happy I made the choice. The al pastor and birria tacos were delicious. The salsa was so yummy I asked for it to go so I could bring it home. Great place and staff!”

Fries, well they weren't anything special. HOWEVER, the onion rings were very tasty and crunchy. The fry sauce is just mayo and ketchup mixed. I will just get ketchup next time. Prices were about the same as fast food but better. Next time I will try a shake. I will be back for sure!”

Rick & Carolyn are wonderful, kind, hardworking people & without any pretense or guile. Just wish I lived in Cortez so I could eat here EVERY day! Carolyn’s baking is awesome & she does make the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. All their food is so good! I try to plan a way I can get to Cortez to enjoy their food each week if I can. If you get the opportunity & haven’t dined here & want a warm, homemade meal, this is your place. Put it on your must stop restaurants to enjoy if you live or visit Cortez, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Delicious food work lots of choice. Wife had the machaca scramble. Excellent mix of flavors with plenty of machaca mixed with the eggs. I had. The huevos con enchiladas. Traditional enchilada and eggs. Great enchilada sauce.”

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and they are very careful if you are dairy free to not cross contaminate. The only place my daughter can get gluten-free and dairy free pizza for their family and it is safe.”

“I placed an online order and the online order didn’t give me a time where I could change it. I called in the lady that answered the phone was very nice and said yes we could change the time and she let me choose a different time for pick up so it could be ready for my husband when he needed to go pick up his sandwich”

“We stopped by on our cross country trip and was hesitant due to the bad review and I felt I had to say something!!! Their coffee and refreshers were on the spot with the other Starbucks. It was perfectly made and coffee was rich and aromatic just like the Starbucks in Los Angeles and other large cities. Don't let the bad review deter you. Come in confidence!”
