I ordered the spinach enchiladas and I cannot have dairy so I asked for tomatillo sauce instead of the cream sauce and no cheese, the waitress came back and informed me there was sour cream that came inside and asked if I wanted to skip that totally appreciated the thoughtfulness. my daughter got fish tacos and asked for no beans so they gave her double rice, portions were huge. We are locals and we’ve eaten here many times. Their Shrimp Ceviche is very good! Good Margaritas & always good service. It’s mostly your standard Mexican Restaurant food, and everything we’ve had has been good. There are several Mexican restaurants in Cortez this is our favorite for value & food. There’s another one we like a lot on Main Street but their prices are keeping us out. We spend around $38 a person here includes 1 big margarita each. Includes tax & tip....read full review

We have never had bad food at Mi Mexico. Everything is delicious. The owner is always on site- cooking or greeting guests. The restaurant is very comfortable and decorated well. There is a large enclosed porch and a garden deck for summer dining. Always great service! By far the best Mexican Restaurant around Montezuma County!
