We enjoyed our stay in the Grizzly cabin this weekend! The cabin was perfect for us and right next to the water. The restaurant was great and all of the staff were amazing! We will definitely be back!
Best place to dine on the Rio Grande!

Antlers Rio Grande Riverside Restaurant is a popular spot for travelers and locals alike. The restaurant sits on a beautiful location with a view over the Rio Grande River, and guests can enjoy great live music and beverages on the back porch each evening. The lodge offers RV camping with amenities such as hot showers and a clean laundry room, making it an excellent choice for an overnight stay.
Food at Antlers is often praised for its presentation and flavor. Diners have enjoyed dishes such as trout almondine, chicken, and the dessert tiramisu. The Duck Fat Cornbread appetizer and crab cakes with remoulade sauce are highlighted as favorites, though some guests note that the crab cakes contain filler and the crabmeat is not lump meat. The roasted golden beets burrata salad, while visually appealing, has been described as undercooked. Other meals like Osso Buco, truffled mushroom mac & cheese, and Filet Mignon receive mixed reviews, with some finding them worth the $48 price and others feeling the quality has diminished with new chefs.
Service is generally described as welcoming and excellent, though breakfast can be slow and understaffed. The lodge’s motel type rooms are basic and comfortable but have thin walls and limited bathroom counter space. Guests enjoy sitting outside their rooms to watch the river and afternoon rain.
Overall, Antlers offers a fine dining experience set in a breathtaking natural setting, though recent changes in food quality and service speed have prompted some guests to suggest small improvements.
