Oh my goodness, I wish I would’ve managed to take a picture. I got the big boy with the cornbread muffin and mac & cheese. I wish I could have that muffin every day. The Mac was delicious! And that chicken, damn!!! It was so good I kept forgetting to dip it into the white sauce they give you which only made it even better.
Got the big boy pibil with black beans, dirty rice and Mac and cheese!!!! So clucking good!

Chicken Riot is a small restaurant selling smoked chicken offerings. The space is small, maybe 3 or 4 tables, with limited seating and parking. The staff are so kind and the service is polite and efficient. The food is amazing at a reasonable price.
The chicken is juicy, tender and full of flavor, with char on the outside and moist inside. The flavor comes from the meat, not just the sauce. The smoked chicken pibil is tender and moist with great flavor, even on thicker breast pieces. The Big Boy Pibil is juicy, tender and full of flavor, and the white sauce is a perfect match. The citrus flavored chicken has a great subtle flavor of citrus and smoke. The wings are also amazing.
The cornbread muffin is amazing, and the esquites muffin is amazing. The Mac and cheese is delicious. The rice is a recommended side, and the Mexican dirty rice is pretty good. The beef tallow black beans are the star side, way better than expected. The Ceasar salad with pancko bread crumbs has the perfect crunch. The pibil and beans are worth getting again. This place is delicious and worth trying.
