Denver Zoo is a cute and fun place to spend a couple of hours, with well-maintained animals and indoor exhibits. It's worth getting a yearly pass if you visit often. Educational opportunities are abundant, with evidence of animal enrichment. The staff shows deep care for the animals, who are never forced to perform. Field trip times can be busy, especially in the summer, and parking might be a bit challenging. Families with children will enjoy exploring the different animals, like the flamingos and those in the new Down Under exhibit.
