Truly one of the most pleasant and worthwhile meals I've had in Denver in a long time. The shared plates made it possible to try a variety of delicious items and though they were supposedly "small," the servings were more than enough to be enjoyed by three big eaters. We had their Peking Duck for Christmas. WOW! The crunch of the deliciously marinated duck skin, tart sweet candied kumquat and delicious duck fried rice. We were in love. I wish I could come here every single day to devour all the food on their menu. I've visited Departure twice and both times ended with several very satisfied tummies. They specialize in Asian fusion, so it was very fun to have my tastebuds to taste such interesting experiments. My absolute favorite dish was the salmon sashimi.
