BE CAREFUL watch your receipt as they add their own gratuity even for just two people!!!! Why give good service IF you always get the tip you want (deserving or not)
They also charge you when using a credit card. They DO NOT mention either issue to you!!
Food was just ok, music was way too loud and blocked the entrance/exit Won’t be back
Music was too loud. This is a bar and restaurant. “Not a disco”. Asked the manager, after asking our bar tender, to lower the music and she said “no one else is complaining” Left with no tip and full drinks. Need to relook your management and customer service. Not unreasonable, just wanted a nightcap to chill. Manager was unprofessional.
This food is very good. The waiters are very nice and respectful always asking How is the food can I help you do you need anything else . would you like anything else to eat? We have sopapillas . They are so delicious.

El Patron Mexican Restaurant is a popular spot for Mexican food known for friendly and quick service. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and drinks, including options for those with dietary restrictions like gluten-free. Although it can be a bit pricey, the flavorful and delicious food makes it worth it. The Burrito Grande is a highly recommended, large-sized menu item that many enjoy. Customers praise the fresh toppings on tacos, especially the al pastor and carne asada tacos, which are flavorful and authentic. The green hot sauce and side of sour cream complement the meals perfectly. The rice and beans are also delicious, with some saying the guacamole is a standout. The restaurant’s quick service and tasty food make it a new favorite for many, offering an enjoyable dining experience despite its strip plaza location. Some guests have enjoyed dishes like birria tacos and pizza Birria, describing them as very flavorful and delicious, with crispy tortillas. Service staff are attentive and friendly, though some mention that the restaurant can be slow and that the food sometimes needs more seasoning. Presentation varies, with some dishes served on aluminum trays, which guests find fun but suggest could be improved with better containers. Customers note that the green chile plate and tacos are very good, especially the birria, which many recommend. Overall, El Patron Mexican Restaurant is appreciated for its flavorful dishes, friendly staff, and lively atmosphere.
