It's a great place to have a few drinks or have a party. If you don't know what to play on the digital jukebox, the waitress's are more than happy to help. There's also a kitchen that serves a lot of different food from hamburgers and fries, to fish and shrimp, to fried mushrooms and onion rings. I haven't been to the Horizon since I was a little kid. My mom was the bartender for the owner, Al, back in the early 60s. She was a white woman in a black establishment and the customers all loved her. She used to serve Floyd Little and the other broncos players. She learned how to cook the best bbq ribs from a cajun man who was the chef. She loved the Horizon and I have thought about it so much over the last 6 decades.
