“Forest Room 5 is, to me, like browsing a nostalgic, 80’s themed museum or time capsule at 3:33 AM. It has such a calm and inviting atmosphere for such an eclectic and somewhat bizarre setting. It is a vaporwave connoisseur’s ultimate dream- old objects your parents or grandparents might have had lying around when you were a kid, old documentaries and music, coupled with the pastoral vibes of a forest you might have visited long ago, or have fond memories about growing up. The vending machine is an eclectic goody bag of random objects with somewhat sentimental quality. It’s as though they plucked random memories from my subconscious mind and sold them to me. The bathrooms are some of the most calming rooms in the whole bar, with spacey visuals and reverb-tinged music filling the space with nostalgia and comfort. Forest Room 5 is an absolute gem in a city famous for its avant-garde establishments and attractions. PLEASE check them out. All of the staff were very kind, the drinks were creative and enjoyable, and the food is delicious.“

“I was so happy to find this place. I love the food menu here, I did not try anything but the liquor. I had a nice bourbon and it was neat, all pun intended. I think the design elements here are on an emotional level. As you step down the speak easy steps you’ll find a beautiful green escape. They even have an event room for larger parties and events. They were new or not very busy so the service was a little light for my taste.“

“This is easily one of the best , if not the best neighborhood bars around. The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s always great energy with live music, quality drinks, and a laid-back vibe. Mike, the owner, sets the tone. On one occasion, I dropped a $100 bill and he returned it without hesitation, which speaks volumes about the integrity and hospitality here. The staff as a whole are just as genuine and attentive. Truly a 10/10 local elevated dive bar experience.“

“Located in the Meridien Hotel lobby it’s a bustling but chic atmosphere. We had a drink here while waiting to go upstairs to the rooftop bar.

The espresso martini was strong and the combination of Amaro and chocolate bitters gave it a nutty, sweet flavor without being overly sugary.“

“Haven't been in a while, and the food is always very good. We've enjoyed the Brussels sprouts in the past, but this time, it seemed laden with too much sauce and cheese, so the sauce really overpowered the taste of the sprouts. Service was painfully slow and it took forever to get our drinks (no mixology needed, we just got tequila), and it was close to 30 minutes. Server was very nice, but the place could be understaffed. Fun vibe, but it gets loud if you sit in the middle part of the room, which was where we were.“

“I’ve been coming here for years and the pickle spears are amazing. They have a lot of good food for a bar but I actually come just for the pickle spears.

On the service side Xaria and Neel are awesome. Literally the friendliest and most attentive people you could ask for.“

“I’ve only been four times but there is always a room with danceable music. The drinks are fairly priced, and the bar crowd, including bar tenders, have always been welcoming. If you get lost in there, it’s not my fault. It’s a glorious maze of fun!“

“I went for karaoke on a Wednesday night and they have the best sound system of all the karaoke in Denver thanks to their awesome karaoke DJ!
I was wowed ant how well u could hear myself in the mic and how it picked up every little nuance and enunciation in my vocals even the whispers oohs and ahhhhs.

“Security guard Jeffery is way to aggressive and very rude. He allowed his favorite male customers to sexually harass me, when I contacted him for help he kicked me and my friends out. Very aggressive and rude protecting his own group of friends that have ‘Vip’ statue with him. He is the original organizer for the human trafficking and drugs that get sold there. Owners should definitely get rid of him he is a liability. Women be careful going there if your not in a large group, Jeffery will threaten you and even have his “sister” follow you home. Denver FBI needs to investigate this place.“

“The food is good. Competent, varied, and interesting. So is the space and decor, as well as the service and help we experienced. Did it have an extra special knack and polish on all those fronts? No. But we were not disappointed at all. And it can't get any more convenient to the Denver theaters.“
