This review is based off of carry out. The Papa Johns app is very easy to use and provides very accurate times when your pizza will be ready. When I pulled into their parking lot my order was ready. I was greeted right away asking for my last name and he handed me my order right away. The pizza and brownies were served warm and were pretty good. I find it tough to give places like Papa Johns, Dominos, and Pizza Hut 5 stars, so I would say 4 stars is pretty good for these types...read full review
I had a unexpected need to place a really large order due to an emergency in my family. I (regret to admit that I first called Domino's) however, they were very quick to explain that it was too close to the end of their night and although they feigned being sorry about my family emergency said that they simply could not help me because they had had a busy night and nobody there wanted to stay an extra 15 mins longer so they jokingly suggested I try Papa John's. It's really rude to send the text message that my food is ready and 8 minutes later when I come to pick it up, it's not ready, it's just barely coming out of the oven. For somebody who has only 30 minutes for lunch, when I order in a timely manner, I expect it to come out in a timely manner. Especially if the system says it was done. You know why this happens? Because they close the ticket out before it even goes in the oven. Not appreciated at all
