I have mixed feelings about my experience at Sunday Vinyl. The service was excellent, the music solid and the food okay. The deluxe frites were mid, lacking the flavor points I want from my pomme frites - crackly exterior, fluffy middle, well-salted with noticeable flavor from the tallow but it feels difficult to accomplish that with a thinly cut potato. The vibe, music, and menu convinced me to bring my wife in for her birthday. While the great tunes and excellent service did not disappoint, and the food presentation was beautiful, the food itself was pretty underwhelming. At this price point, I was hoping for at least one of the five plates we ordered to 'wow' us, but no such luck. We did not order cocktails so I cannot speak to the quality there, but I don't see us making another visit either way.
