Syrup Downtown Reviews
Decent food but high prices. They don't even give you toast with an omelet. And they are one of those places that decide to rip you off with a 3% junk fee. When I see that fee it just gets deducted off the base tip as I assume they use that junk fee to pay their staff more so they don't need me to. I would just avoid this place. Also, they have me no detailed receipt just a hand held device to add the tip and see no detail. I guess to hide the junk fee from me.
Host sat us and didn’t appear to tell any waiters. We waited for 17 minutes watching servers take orders of all the tables that were sat after us. Left before they even brought us water and no one even noticed. Was so excited to try this place can’t say I’ll be back.

Syrup Downtown offers a unique twist on traditional breakfast dishes and is an excellent spot for breakfast or lunch in downtown Denver. The beignets with cherry tart syrup are a must-try, and the crunchy french toast has received praise. Guests can also enjoy the chicken and waffles dish, especially with the spicy syrup on top, making it a great option for brunch. The menu features a variety of options, including standard breakfast items for traditionalists and some wild exclusives, ensuring there is something for everyone. Gluten-free options are available for those with dietary restrictions. Portions are large, so guests definitely get their money’s worth. Service is often excellent, with attentive staff, although some reviews indicate it can be slow during busy times. Standout items like the spicy loaded tatertots and the breakfast burger, which includes a 1/2 beef, 1/2 chorizo patty with Canadian bacon, egg, lettuce, cheese, and tomato, highlight the delicious food, though some guests have experienced issues such as hard Benedict eggs. The atmosphere has received mixed reviews, as the restaurant is located in a mall-type building, which can make it hard to feel cozy. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience remains enjoyable. Whether craving a classic breakfast or something with a creative twist, Syrup Downtown has it all.
