Venice Reviews
We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is...read full review

Venice Ristorante and Wine Bar is a popular Italian restaurant in Denver known for its authentic cuisine and friendly service. The menu offers many dishes, including flavorful veal meatballs in spicy Arrabiata sauce, Fettucine Alfredo con Pollo, and Polletto Piccata with capers and roasted garlic in a lemon Chardonnay sauce. Recent reviews highlight the squid ink pasta with clams, shrimp, mussels, and cod, as well as gnocchi in a pink vodka sauce, veal milanese, veal scampi, cioppino, and ragu cinghiale. The seafood pasta is well-liked for being perfectly al dente and full of flavor, and the chocolate soufflé is praised as light and delicious.
The restaurant's bar area and outdoor patio are great spots for happy hour, which is considered one of the best in the city. The wine selection, curated by a professional sommelier, is extensive, with a large glassed-in wine cellar holding hundreds of bottles at the right temperature. The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering good recommendations for wine pairings and food. The atmosphere is lively and active, adding to the overall experience, though some find it loud and challenging for conversation. The ambiance is enhanced by the absence of typical Italian music, like Frank Sinatra, which some guests appreciated for its refreshing authenticity.
Venice Ristorante and Wine Bar has been a community staple for nearly two decades, delivering a consistent dining experience that encourages guests to return. It is recommended to book a table in advance due to its popularity. Some guests have noted that the restaurant can be quite cold and noisy at times, making it less comfortable for some diners. Valet parking is not available on-site, despite what is stated on the website. Overall, visitors enjoy the delicious food, attentive service, and vibrant atmosphere, making it a favorite spot in Denver.
