I forgot to take a picture of my food because it was so delicious!! This place is such a nice little hole in the wall! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was so good! It literally melted in my mouth as I ate it. Definitely is the most delicious food I’ve had in a while. Thank you guys. I’ll be back again on one of my days off and I’ll bring my kids 🙏🤙
Skip the others! Brisket melted in my mouth! House sauce is best, but I tried them all. AND they have sweat tea! The only thing sweater than the tea were the owners.
AMAZING. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this place. Food is incredible, service is OUTSTANDING. Bill & Tracy were WONDERFUL. We loved it, kids loved it, had to order extra macaroni & cheese because our kids devoured it. Also loved their homemade BBQ sauces! Do not neglect to stop and eat at Buckhead West BBQ!!

Buckhead West BBQ is a pleasant find in Durango, serving delicious barbecue. The brisket sandwich, tacos, and pulled pork plate are fantastic and absolutely delicious. Sides like the homemade potato salad and coleslaw are great. The homemade sauces are out of this world and fantastic, with specific mentions of the Carolina Gold and K.C. sauces. The staff and owners are extremely welcoming, very kind, friendly, customer oriented, and some of the nicest people. They are very attentive and accommodating. The experience is highly recommended as an absolutely perfect place to stop for a quick bite.
