“We stop there every weekend. Either on the way home from biking or skiing. Delicious burgers and always a flurry to go with it. Reasonably priced, quick service, indoor and outdoor seating too. If you're going through Empire, make the stop. It's worth it.”

“Born in raised in GA and I can say this is some good Texas style BBQ. Absolutely MASSIVE(and I mean massive) portions, sides are insane! Mac and cheese is the best white cheese style I’ve ever had, Fried Okra is INSANE, Baked Beans are AMAZING, Brisket is good, Pork is good, Sauces are awesome!(spicy and Carolina mustard are my favorite). Gonna have my Peach Cobbler tonight! Staff are fantastic as well, very down to earth! I have a bbq spot right down the road from my house in Idaho Springs and I choose to drive up to Georgetown on Sundays for Scooters.”

“Person working was watching their phone the whole time, I almost felt bad for interrupting them, but it was a decent late, nothing spectacular but not watery like some reviews mentioned, I would go again in I was in the area. I also appreciate their selection of gifts and grabbed a few for my family.”

“The menu is straightforward, the sandwiches are delightful, and the folks running the place were friendly and helpful.
My family was very happy - my four year old even ate most of his turkey and cheese, which is rare for a sandwich.
Also, the music choice was fun.”

“Great dinner and excellent service from our waiter, Matt! He was attentive and great with our 10 yr old grandson! Loved the spinach salad with grilled salmon!”
“We were up in the Georgetown/Idaho Springs area for the weekend. We were trying to waste time before dinner, so we started looking around the little shops. Ended up in here and saw they served coffee and tea. Ordered a couple of teas, and asked the guy working there for some suggestions on what to do to waste time. He told us to stop by Alpine Restaurant because they have some pool tables and arcade games, and also to go up Guanella Pass to Clear Lake. Neither of them disappointed! We decided to pop back in on our way home from our weekend getaway to get a couple more teas, hot chocolate, and an apple cider and to tel him thanks for his suggestions. My kids said their drinks were made with love. Thanks again!”

“Cute little place. Waffles are amazing, just plain or with chocolate [though the chocolate one was just a plain waffle with chocolate sauce poured on top]. Staff were courteous and friendly.”
“A great stop during a cold day on the slopes. Hours are unclear, but seems like 11a-2p on weekends and busy days. The chili is delicious. We tried the bison, vegan, and green chili. Canned beer available. There a warming hut and the main building, both can be pretty cramped but at least they’re warm. Restrooms are small but manageable.”

“This is the ski place. Food, drinks, sunny deck, and jerry watching. Old school, no cell service, never intends to be Aspen let's ensure it never so becomes. Straight skis, fogged lenses, messy hair, humble.”

“Found this lovely little gem in a quick trip to Colorado last week! Oh my! Food was amazing and the staff were so friendly! I’m still talking about how delicious the duck pot pie was 😋🥰”
“For a mountain town hotel bar and restaurant, it's perfect! We watched the Superbowl here and the vibe was awesome! The Snowflake Martini and the Hazelnut Old Fashioned were perfectly crafted cocktails and we could not get enough of them. I've never had hazelnuts roasted in a drink before and it's fantastic! They also have a real ski you can do shots off of with a group of 4. This was also a unique experience. The food menu was pretty limited and they were out of some things, but overall what we did order was great! It's nice that we could have this option while staying at the resort and then walk back to the room. They also have darts and a pool table.”
“My friend and I sat at high-tops near bar and ordered burger and bloody mary at bar. Sat and soaked up vibes of a busy sunday lunchtime while enjoying my big, beautiful, and tasty Bloody Mary.Food came out after about 15 minutes and initially when the server came out and asked if the burgers he had were for us, I (in confusion) turned him away because I had forgot that I had ordered a burger. The bartender then checked to see why my burger hadn’t arrived yet, and he gave me a tender arm touch that showed me he cared and wanted to make sure I was comfortable, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I got my burger after a couple minutes and the world was at peace. We ate our burgers and drank our drinks and enjoyed them. My friend thought his Margarita was delish though for the price wish there was slightly less ice and more marg. I joined the clean plate club, but my friend couldn’t handle the tots and left them half finished. However, once we started skiing again I wished I had followed his lead because I was FULL and mega sleepy.Anyways, Club Car was good.Couple extra notes:- Hefty napkins for a manly man- Tot got lodged in friends throat while we were eating and messed up conversation, no blame to Club Car but worth mentioning”

“Cheapest eats on the mountain. A few bucks for a large pizza slice after a long day in Mary Jane is 5 stars by itself. The atmosphere of the place seals the deal, so fun and chill.”
