“I have a really difficult allergy to work around (nightshades: meaning no tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, etc.) and I walked in really craving a pasta. The waitress was super nice about this and made several runs to the chef to ask questions about ingredients. Unfortunately it turned out that all their pasta either had a red sauce, or the meat was marinated with tomatoes. BUT the chef said they could just make me a chicken Alfredo pasta which wasn't listed on the menu. These accomodations were incredible and the pasta was delicious!I also had the mezcal old fashioned which I'd happily recommend. My party members also really liked their meals.“

“We had plans to visit another Mexican restaurant down the road but they were closed for a private event so we found ourselves here, may have been a blessing in disguise. We were seated right away and our waiter greeted us quickly. We ordered chips and salsa and the green chile queso, the chips were homemade and delicious, as well as the salsa and queso. I ordered the combo with a shredded beef burrito and tamale. It came with a side of rice and beans and smothered in green chile. The shredded beef was well seasoned and they didn't skimp on the amount they put in. My sister got Edward's combo (I think that was the name of it) and it came with a shredded beef taco, chicken Laura and a Laura. It was so much food, but she said it was all very good. This combo was also smothered and came with the rice and beans. My other sister ordered something that had chicken, bacon, and cheese melted on top. Tortillas came in the side along with rice and beans. She asked for a side of green chile as she found it to be a little bland without some sort of sauce. We had a house margarita and a mango margarita, both in the rocks and very tasty. The food was great, the seating was comfortable for what seems like a small place from the front, but we did notice them taking people down a hallway so there must have been more room back there. We ended up taking home leftovers, including chips from our salsa and queso. Our food came out fast and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly.“

“Right on the tourist strip and usually that is reason for locals to stay away. Their name used to be "The locals ...". A friend from out of town came here and enjoyed it and recommended it. We had good service and good food. Excellent burger, the lobster Mac&Cheese looked standard elbow noodles, but the flavor was really good. Seems like a small place with a full bar with a pretty extensive whiskey selection. Plenty of drink options. We enjoyed our first trip“

“We have been to Mama Rose's a few times over the years. Our last visit was the week before Christmas 2023. We had been a bit disappointed with our meals in Estes Park on this trip (as restaurants can be a bit off their game this time of year). But we were very pleased with our meal at Mama Rose's.We started off with a Caprese for an appetizer -- we are not normally not fans of black pepper, but the cracked black pepper was added at just the right amount to make this very tasty, and the basil leaves were very fresh -- we were almost fighting over the last couple of tomatoes and cheese. My wife and I often share our meals, and this was no different as we shared a lasagna and a fettucine with tomato cream sauce (with meatballs added) -- we absolutely loved both of them. Unfortunately, our son did not like the fettucine with pesto sauce (we should have remembered this from the past). But our server (I wish I could remember her name, but she said she had been there for 9 years we think) was so wonderful and brought him a dish of the fettucine with tomato cream sauce (with a sausage) -- as he tried ours and loved it. She took off the charge for the pesto dish (without us even asking her to do so).My son and I shared an order of cannoli for dessert, as my wife was too full to have any. This was a wonderful meal, and a great final dinner of our trip. We will definitely be back next time we visit Estes Park!“

“After deciding to have a special Saturday in Estes, we scoped out several other restaurants looking to satisfy the 3 kids with us. We were headed to another restaurant and stumbled upon Full Throttle and decided to peek at the menu. Couldn’t be happier we did! The kids all loved their food and ate everything (NEVER happens with our kids!) and hubby and I loved our food as well as our staff recommended house crafted drinks made with their own whiskey and moonshines. Staff was friendly and even though they were dealing with some new software troubleshooting, they went above and beyond to communicate and make sure we were taken care of! Great service from Ian, Gabe and Angela as well as the rest of the staff. They were great with our kids, kind and friendly with us. One of our best dining experiences in Estes in a very long time!“
