Nicky's Resort Reviews
This was a great value! We had been vacationing in the Springs area and decided on a whim to head to Estes and weren't sure if we'd find a place when we stumbled upon this one. Comfortable beds and a very safe feeling. It transported me back to early 90s road side motel in the best way possible. We pulled right up to our door and walked right in. The gentleman (who I am assuming is the owner) was a treasure of a human. The rooms were simple, charming, clean, and very quiet.
I needed another night stay and they couldn’t accommodate. So to cancel I was charged half of the hotel rate even with cancellation insurance. Be careful when you book with them they are not accommodating at all!!!
We had a fantastic stay at Nickys Resort for a Friend's wedding. Great room Great price.

Nicky's Resort offers a delightful stay with friendly and helpful staff, spotless and inviting rooms, and the convenient on-site Wapiti restaurant. Guests love the beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and next to a stream, which provides stunning views. The property features cozy rooms equipped with nice amenities like fireplaces, tables, chairs, ceiling fans, and coffee makers. While the rooms could be updated, with some mentioning issues like old carpets and uncomfortable beds, the great fridge with a real freezer and a nice microwave add value. The exterior walkway lighting could be improved, but the rushing brook running through the property enhances the experience. The on-site restaurant is an old-fashioned, comfortable place that serves great food and drinks while dining along the stream. Although some guests noted that the restaurant's hours could be more convenient, Nicky's Resort overall provides a clean, cozy, and affordable stay for visitors exploring the area, being only four miles from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, which is less congested.
