I’ve always loved Parkside but the jump in price today was a bit disappointing-seems like a $2 hike on everything and the owner is off on vacation! Yay for him.
We checked this place out for dinner tonight after seeing them at the Taste of Evergreen, and they did not disappoint. If you're looking for real Louisiana homestyle cooking, this is the place. We had the trio... gumbo, jambalaya, and rice and beans plus the baked chicken. Both were delicious. The music and atmosphere were great, casual and fun, and we had a great time
Cute eclectic place in Evergreen! Highly recommend
