“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“Excellent place! Great atmosphere! Great food and drink! Great service! I would highly recommend! My fiancé and I discovered The Arvada Tavern on an impromptu date night and really enjoyed ourselves there. Can’t wait to go back! Don’t take my word for it, go and check it out and see for yourself.“

“Angelina was a total rick star and provided excellent service to our party of 12. The "new" food menu has such a wide variety of choices. The beers were cold, and the atmosphere was fun. It looked like they were expanding to the suite next door and would have darts, pool, and shuffleboard.

“Atmosphere was definitely eclectic. It was very clean and the food was fantastic. Toys and drinks. Also good options staff was friendly. They came out fairly quickly with the portions. Bathrooms were a bit odd. Plenty of seating for the outside. It was a fairly large place with definitely seating for large groups. Even though it wasn’t my style it is a great place to check out. The truffle fries and fried pickles were both great choices. We had their apple cider. Also which game called and was great.“

“Everything. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and lovely. Every staff member I met was kind and gracious and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. The hotel itself is ideally located and the lobby is cozy and feels classy and warm. There is a downstairs lounge area that was frequently empty where friends could gather, read, work, or play pool. The restaurant Harry’s has the most amazing food - I highly recommend the 1910 grilled cheese and tomato soup, with the black truffle fries on the side. Wow. I will never be the same. The hotel is dog friendly, which I love, and people friendly. We had coffee in the lobby in the morning, snacks in the afternoon, and cookies and milk in the evenings. My room was cleaned every day. This was the BEST experience I have had since before Covid and I will always choose this hotel when I am in Denver from now on.“

“A wonderful tavern style sports bar with plenty of space and TVs playing the latest games, delicious food, and very friendly staff. There are some arcade games for anyone with kids, and a big huge bar for loners like me. Still, I usually get a table since it's my number one spot for meeting friends to catch up. Waiters and wairltresses are all professional and friendly, and the food is delicious, alwaya tasting fresh and in huge portions per dollar. Can't recommend enough.“

“My friend and I came on a lovely fall day and sat on the patio with our pup. The bartender was very friendly and attentive always making sure to check up on us. The chef went out of his way to bring us some sort of delicious spicy sauce for us to try with our sandwiches and came back out to give the pup some bacon! Really amazing food and service!“

Unfortunately, during the capital one bank blackout last month, I wasn't able to pay my tab, and when I went back to pay my tab, the male bartender told another man to ban me from the bar. Unfortunate, but don't let it stop you from checking out this fun karaoke place. The tab was $11, by the way.“

“My husband and I stopped by Hester’s Burgers, Brews & Blues last night and had such a great time! The live music was incredible, Jeff Goodwin and the Front Range Cowboys seriously blew us away. That man is crazy talented and will be playing there every Thursday night, so if you haven’t seen him yet, you need to. He’s going places, or at least he should be! We also got the chance to chat with the owner, Chris Hester, and he was such a genuine, down-to-earth guy. It’s easy to see why this place has such good energy, he really cares, and it shows. Our original server (whose name I didn’t catch) was an absolute sweetheart, and Raquel? That girl is a doll. She works her cute little butt off making sure everyone is taken care of, and she does it with a smile. Great vibes, great food, killer music, what more could you want? They have something going on pretty much every day of the week We’ll definitely be back!“

“This is a hidden gem in downtown Denver for sure. It looks kind of like a college bar when you walk in, but head upstairs to the rooftop and it is a whole vibe. Our waitress was super nice and our chicken wings were delicious. The music selection by the DJ was great and we wished we didn't have somewhere else to be because we didn't want to leave!“
