Genoa Coffee & Wine Reviews

Do not care for the new owners. Slow and unfriendly service. The food also not good anymore.
Menu
Genoa Coffee & Wine is a cozy coffee shop with a comfortable and warm environment. They offer a variety of delicious drinks, including vanilla lattes, caramel macchiatos, and matcha lattes. The establishment also serves hot and customizable burritos, with a selection of quiche available on Thursdays. Customers appreciate the cleanliness of the location and the use of mugs for serving drinks. The décor is charming and inviting, making it a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a drink. The coffee is brewed with care, and the menu features authentic, flavorful options, including vegan choices like vegan black and white cookies and vegan apple cider donuts, which delight customers.
The coffee shop has an unassuming, hole-in-the-wall appearance but is a bustling place with a friendly, familiar atmosphere. Recent visitors note that the pastries, cakes, and especially the quiche are a nice touch compared to other cafés. The pumpkin latte is described as creamy and flavorful, while the matcha latte is smooth and well-balanced. Some customers mention that the service can feel a bit flat, especially if orders are not handled as expected, but overall, the place remains charming with great drinks and tempting pastries. Many find the prices to be affordable, especially compared to other spots in the area, and appreciate the quiet, refreshing nature of the staff. This includes the often quiet male baristas, who are seen as refreshing rather than rude.
Overall, Genoa Coffee & Wine continues to be a beloved spot for its excellent coffee, tasty food, and inviting atmosphere, making it a favorite for regulars and newcomers alike.
