“After a day exploring Georgetown, my mom and I decided to check out Cooper’s on the Creek, as it was across the street from our hotel.Oh. My. Goodness.Everything we ordered was just cram packed with flavor. We started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which did not last long at all. The crostini’s and veggies complimented the dip well, and we were soon scraping the skillet for what little remained.Next were our entree's, I ordered the Braised Bison Short Ribs, and my mom got the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon. The ribs were so unbelievably tender, they fell off the bone at the slightest touch, and simply melted in your mouth. The flavor was incredible, making each bite better than the last. The potatoes the ribs were served in were delicious as well, very well season, and complimented the ribs perfectly. I sampled Mom’s filet as well. The cook was spot on (medium rare), and the flavor was also phenomenal. I could tell it was made on a charcoal grill, and the sear was flawless. We finished with an order of Truffle Fries, and both of us were completely blown away by how delicious the fries were, never mind the mind blowing Black Garlic dipping sauce they included with it. We disposed of those in a matter of minutes, and were left licking our fingers at how tasty it was.Our drinks were the perfect compliment to the meal - I started with a Peach Sweet Tea, mom a Mai Thai. After trying hers, I ordered a Mai Thai as well - very tasty, not too sweet, and the flavors complimented each other very well. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring our water never ran out and guaranteed we didn’t want for anything during our meal. The atmosphere was friendly and quaint, and the prices were modest considering how delicious everything was, I certainly expected to spend more than $75 a person.I can honestly say this is one of if not thee best dining experience I’ve ever had, and I cannot recommend Cooper’s on the Creek enough! If you find yourself in town, don’t deprive yourself of this experience!“
