“I’ve been coming to Garbanzo for years, and it’s hands down my favorite Mediterranean spot. Their pita is the best—fluffy, fresh-baked, and far superior to the super-flat pitas you get at places like Cava. I also love that they mix up all the ingredients before stuffing the pita, so every bite is flavorful and balanced. The food is consistently fresh, with great quality for a quick, build-your-meal style restaurant.

The service is always excellent—staff are warm, hospitable, and genuinely kind. A smile and a little courtesy go a long way, and it’s something I really appreciate here. The dining area itself is simple and clean with nice decorative touches, though I’ll admit the booths could use a little extra cushion for comfort.

Their flavors are not really imitating meat, they take the essence of the meat flavor and add or adjust it to better enhance natural tastes found in the rest of the dish. Most vegan places I’ve been to just imitate and then over season-sometimes severely. This place is truly revolutionizing how food can be extraordinary and vegan. I recently called to ask if I could place an order and have them set it outside since I had COVID. One of the owners said he’d be more than happy to, but then mentioned they offer delivery. “It was my first time going here. We didn’t have reservations so we had to sit either at the bar or outside with heaters. We chose bar. It was so cool to see the kitchen making food, and the cooks are so great. It looks like they enjoy their job bc they were smiling and laughing and I personally appreciate that. We ordered the calamari which was 10/10 and fish and chips which was also 10/10. We got 2 beers with our meal and the key lime pie which was 7/10 bc it had a ton of whipped cream on top. So it came out to close to $100. This is definitely my fish and chips spot from now on! Also shout out to Jenny our waitress, she was incredibly sweet!“

As things went along, we figured out I had never actually completed the order on my computer earlier that morning. I apologized for causing such a commotion, and thanked her for making it work. The staff were seamless, and wonderful. Customer service like that is SO rare these days.
