“I’ve been coming to Garbanzo for years, and it’s hands down my favorite Mediterranean spot. Their pita is the best—fluffy, fresh-baked, and far superior to the super-flat pitas you get at places like Cava. I also love that they mix up all the ingredients before stuffing the pita, so every bite is flavorful and balanced. The food is consistently fresh, with great quality for a quick, build-your-meal style restaurant.

The service is always excellent—staff are warm, hospitable, and genuinely kind. A smile and a little courtesy go a long way, and it’s something I really appreciate here. The dining area itself is simple and clean with nice decorative touches, though I’ll admit the booths could use a little extra cushion for comfort.

Overall, Garbanzo delivers a great experience with fantastic food and welcoming service. It’s a spot I’ll continue to return to again and again.“

“Seafood restaurant known for oysters in downtown Denver. We came for a birthday celebration and the oysters were a hit(so much so I didn’t get a photo). I think that was the highlight of our food experience.
For appetizers, we got multiple different types of oysters as well as calamari. I was not a huge fan of the calamari. It was lots of oily breading, but the dipping sauce was good.
For drinks, we tried some wine pairings as well as the happy hour. Would highly recommend coming for happy hour for some cheaper oysters and drinks.
For mains, we had multiple people get the crab stuffed cod, this I was also a fan of the crab was delicious. One person also ordered the scallops and they said they were perfectly cooked.
This place was expensive and I personally didn’t think the main dishes werent worth the price, but the oysters definitely were.“

We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! “Today (07-18-2025), at 11:45 I showed up at this location to pick up my online pickup order. I had a printout of my order with me. Kelly told me they couldn't find my order. I showed her the address and time on my sheet, and without missing a beat, she rallied the whole team and started making my stuff. 12 items for 8 people. As things went along, we figured out I had never actually completed the order on my computer earlier that morning. I apologized for causing such a commotion, and thanked her for making it work. She was totally unjudgmental, and totally helpful. Everyone working at that time was, and it was all hands on deck to accommodate my mistaken self, plus everyone else that was coming in. The staff were seamless, and wonderful. Customer service like that is SO rare these days.
