From the very first meeting, the team was easy to coordinate with and incredibly accommodating. They helped us shape the space to make the evening feel personal and unique to us — every detail was handled with care and flexibility.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and actively engaged throughout the night. Many of our guests commented on how relaxed and fun the atmosphere felt, which is exactly what we’d hoped for the night before our wedding.

“I have to be honest, I go there for their pies, which they don’t advertise on the web. But always worth the trip. Just had the toasted coconut cream pie and it was fabulous. One of the best I ever had. Their tart cherry is what got me hooked on their pies. It is unbeatable and a dimension above the standard sweet cherry pie. Apple pie is exactly what it should be. Only the ingredients needed and lots of them. Can’t wait for peach season to have their peach pie again. Great wows from our daughter on their green chili savory pie. I am not there yet - maybe after I work my way through the other pies. This place is a 12 out of 10.“

“What a cool place. The food and service were good, like better than you'd expect. Hats off to the chef, they actually nailed the "medium" burger. The wedge salad was a little heavy on the crumbles and dressing but that just made the burger that much better. The only thing that we would've changed, the music was a little chunky, or so says the wife. Happy wife, happy life!“

“This was our last stop before heading back to Flat Florida. And I guess we did in fact save the best for last. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito and wow it was so delicious so many flavors that complimented each other so well. The service was great everyone was so kind. We got there around 9 and it was very busy but the line moved a long quickly.
It’s been 3 months since I’ve been here and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. I will be back again someday!

“These are the type of fun little shops that are great to have in mountain towns like Golden. The woman working was very knowledgeable about tea, which made my girlfriend very excited, and she was very open to telling her all about the different teas and giving us a sample or two, which were available at the counter. I know that a premium product comes with the premium price however I do feel like the tea was fairly overpriced, but maybe that’s just tourist pricing or something like that, I don’t know how anyone can buy two small tins of tea that cost them $32 total very often. That being said the tea was very good and high-quality and my girlfriend does enjoy it so she was happy with her purchase.“

“I got the ”vegan works” sandwich on the sourdough. It was really good. I ordered the flat white with oat milk. It was cold and not impressive. I wouldn't recommend the coffee but the vegan sandwich was good. It's a bit pricey based on what you get.“

“Restaurant is at a great venue. We loved staying at the Origin. The food and drinks were great. They were out of tortilla chips, which is sort of different for a Mexican restaurant. Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way.  it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience. “

“I should say normally we love it - this time was disappointing because we arrived at 10:23. We were headed back home & our 4 hour drive was in front of us. My husband is having cancer treatment at University hospital, and just wanted one of their Oregon Blackberry shakes. The lady on the intercom said she couldn't do those until 10:30. Of course then we could not get out of the curbed-in drive thru ... by the time we waited for the cars in front of us to be thru it was 10:29 when we reached the window.... where my husband said to just drive thru. Sometimes small things are important to people ... would it have really been so hard to do?“
