Both of us were disappointed. On a plate with knife and fork, it would have been great. In a taco, not so much, very stringy. They have enough good flavors, stay away from the brisket though.“

“By far the best vegan breakfast burrito I’ve had. The filling mix contains lots of vegetables, usually root veggies, which can surprisingly be hard to find at restaurants. Some places just add potatoes to a tortilla and label it a burrito. They also have a delicious vegan green chile to try with it.“

“Hiked up to the Genesee Mountain and smelled this BBQ on my way up. Upon my return down the Genesee Mountain Trail we made our way to the restaurant. We were greated by a very friendly staff as well as the owner. Fantastic service. More importantly, THE FOOD! I started with the pork green chili. Fantastic. I then ordered baby back ribs that were the best I've had west of Kansas City. Sides I tried between me and my partner were all fantastic as well: mac and cheese, green beans, baked potato, and cole slaw. All amazing flavor and portions. My partner is vegetarian and we were very surprised by their options. She had the fried cod sandwich, but they also have a plant based burger, a BBQ jackfruit sandwich, and several salads and sides to chose from. I couldn't eat everything they had to offer (pulled pork, brisket, smoked sausage, turkey, baked beans, classic American BBQ options) but I did leave with a 1/4 chicken to take back to camp (Chief Hosa, highly recommend). Best idea I had all day because it was perfect after the short hike back to base. The pricing was amazing as well. For the quality and portion size it was perfect. Overall, I'd give this BBQ spot a 9.5/10 and that's only because I didn't have enough room to try all their BBQ options. But I will be back on my next Colorado trip to update!“

One of the best I ever had. Their tart cherry is what got me hooked on their pies. It is unbeatable and a dimension above the standard sweet cherry pie. Apple pie is exactly what it should be. Only the ingredients needed and lots of them. Can’t wait for peach season to have their peach pie again. Great wows from our daughter on their green chili savory pie. “My friend and I came on a lovely fall day and sat on the patio with our pup. The bartender was very friendly and attentive always making sure to check up on us. The chef went out of his way to bring us some sort of delicious spicy sauce for us to try with our sandwiches and came back out to give the pup some bacon! Really amazing food and service!“

“I should say normally we love it - this time was disappointing because we arrived at 10:23. We were headed back home & our 4 hour drive was in front of us. My husband is having cancer treatment at University hospital, and just wanted one of their Oregon Blackberry shakes. The lady on the intercom said she couldn't do those until 10:30. Of course then we could not get out of the curbed-in drive thru ... by the time we waited for the cars in front of us to be thru it was 10:29 when we reached the window.... where my husband said to just drive thru. Sometimes small things are important to people ... would it have really been so hard to do?“
