Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way.  it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience. “

“We came here with a couple of friends and kiddos under 2, and we had a great time. There is a great selection and the drinks are good. Plenty of space for kiddos to run around and our bartender Bri was fantastic and super nice!“

“I went here with my mother In law ans met so many wonderful people ! The staff were very kind and helpful, the owner of the bar typically is on premises when events happen so you can talk to them and learn the history of Goostown Station. The music was loud, but ita supposed to be. I felt comfortable to get up and dance unbashfully. This is an amazing hole in the wall in golden, kind of place.“

“This was our last stop before heading back to Flat Florida. And I guess we did in fact save the best for last. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito and wow it was so delicious so many flavors that complimented each other so well. The service was great everyone was so kind. We got there around 9 and it was very busy but the line moved a long quickly.
It’s been 3 months since I’ve been here and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. I will be back again someday!

“I have to be honest, I go there for their pies, which they don’t advertise on the web. But always worth the trip. Just had the toasted coconut cream pie and it was fabulous. One of the best I ever had. Their tart cherry is what got me hooked on their pies. It is unbeatable and a dimension above the standard sweet cherry pie. Apple pie is exactly what it should be. Only the ingredients needed and lots of them. Can’t wait for peach season to have their peach pie again. Great wows from our daughter on their green chili savory pie. I am not there yet - maybe after I work my way through the other pies. This place is a 12 out of 10.“

“My friend and I came on a lovely fall day and sat on the patio with our pup. The bartender was very friendly and attentive always making sure to check up on us. “I should say normally we love it - this time was disappointing because we arrived at 10:23. We were headed back home & our 4 hour drive was in front of us. My husband is having cancer treatment at University hospital, and just wanted one of their Oregon Blackberry shakes. The lady on the intercom said she couldn't do those until 10:30. Of course then we could not get out of the curbed-in drive thru ... by the time we waited for the cars in front of us to be thru it was 10:29 when we reached the window.... where my husband said to just drive thru. Sometimes small things are important to people ... would it have really been so hard to do?“

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Golden Hotel’s Bridgewater Grill! I have very severe food allergies, and Manager Rachel went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled flawlessly. The kitchen staff was amazing — they took every precaution, and my meal was absolutely perfect.

My server (I wish I could remember his name!) had such a great personality and took incredible care of me. He was working behind the bar on the porch that evening and made the whole experience feel so welcoming.

It was my first time dining out in a very long time, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so grateful to the entire team for their kindness and attention to detail. I will definitely be back!“
