I am very impressed with this place, great prices and excellent food
Recently moved to GJ and was having a hard time finding a Good Mexican food place. Either the food is sub par or the price is ridiculously expensive and portions are tiny. But this place has it all. I’m so glad I stopped to try this place. I ordered 2 different kinds of burritos and my total was 12$. He handed me the bag and it probably weighed 5-6lbs. The burritos were huge. 1 is a meal. Taco Star offers a genuine taste of Mexico with a full plate of delightful food. The homemade tortillas and carne asada are amazing, while the Adobada is fire. The chillireano plate and rolled tacos are great and full of flavor. They provide great bang for your buck with large, delicious portions, including a custom green sauce and guacamole standard on tacos. The location is exceptionally clean with quick service and a great atmosphere. It is the best for authentic Mexican food.
