“Great breakfast!! The service is friendly and fast!“

“Whenever I’m in Gunnison, I enjoy eating at Garlic Mike’s. I was excited to have my 75th birthday dinner there on January 5, 2025. The cream of mushroom soup and flatiron steak were very good, however the Alfredo sauce was thin and tasteless. We weren’t offered freshly grated Parmesan cheese which is standard for an Italian restaurant! I was disappointed there was no free offer of a birthday dessert or just a scoop of ice cream. They were aware it was my birthday! Also the two young men in the kitchen had a rather loud conversation about a sexual predator that could be heard in the dining area!! So my visit there did not meet my expectations, but I’ll probably dine there during future visits“

“This restaurant is a great find. The food was delicious, fresh, and quick!! We have a couple food allergies and there were plenty of options for all of our tastes. The real test was that my kids all found something they wanted to eat and then actually ate all of their protein bowls. We also ordered smoothies, and soup. It was all delicious. Service was great too. I don’t often review anything, but this deserves 5 stars.

Dietary restrictions: We have 3 out of 5 with gluten allergy, and one with a tree nut allergy, and we had plenty of safe and delicious options.

Kid-friendliness: I really appreciated how the lady serving us today was patient with my kids, and helped them with their orders.“

“Went this week and shared time with friends. we all had different menu items. we ordered 2 margaritas both with different tequilas. i love that the margs are made to order, not made with cheap margarita mix (which gives me heartburn). mine was his songs and it was so delicious and smooth. i also got a chefs combo burrito and LET ME TELL YALL it was so delightful. well seasoned. the meat was not overcooked. i pounded the whole thing. all of my friends enjoyed their items a lot. the food was plated and presented so nicely. 10/10. the service was fantastic. I loved the experience so much. we live nearby and will be returning. I highly recommend this place. the only drawback would be for large parties. it is not a big place so call ahead of you have a group of more than 4 maybe. it's in an old downtown building and it is what it is. definitely does not reduce my rating at all. thanks so much Añejo staff!“

“Great atmosphere and ambiance. Our server Trevor was right on top of it all. Food was good. Hubby had the Ribeye steak and I had the prime rib. Would recommend this restaurant!“

“Exactly the type of place we were looking for after putting a couple hundred miles on the motorcycles today. If you're looking for a dive bar in Gunnison, go no further. Touchtunes jukebox, Harley Davidson pinball, pacman-galaga machine, some old machine that looked like air hockey and fooseball combined. Some locals were celebrating after a wake, and told us the old man behind the bar owned the joint. A couple other locals came in to play some pool.“

“Cafe Silvestre is one of the best restaurants in Gunnison. Each meal is made to order and cooked when ordered. The ingredients are fresh and the meal temperature is always hot. The service and atmosphere is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the menu selections.

Parking: Parking spots are on the side and in the rear of the restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is at least one handicap parking spot.“

“Really good food and excellent service. They are so friendly here! Already said the food was good but I'll say it again because it was all fresh and really well made! Definitely try it!

Kid-friendliness: There were some young ones here while we were eating and the employees were very kid friendly“

“The hummus and pita on the happy hour was delicious. The Paradise Punch was also very good. My husband had the pulled pork pita on the happy hour menu and a blonde ale which were also delicious. Will come back.“
