The pizza was amazing. The crust on the pizza was so delicious it made you wanting more. I just learned about the honey and the crust yum! Plenty of sauce every bite and all the toppings you want. Will be back.

Beau Jo's Idaho Springs offers fantastic Mountain Pie, with honey for the crust as dessert. The peppermint espresso martini is a must-try. The server is knowledgeable about the restaurant's history. The only downside is the restroom location. Parking can be a bit of a walk, but following directions leads to the rear parking lot. The restaurant serves classic Italian food in a historic building with detailed architecture. The staff is excellent. The stuffed mushrooms and margherita pizza are delicious options. A great place for anyone visiting North Denver, despite some parking challenges. The Denver pizza was on point and the recommendation to put honey on the crust was amazing. The pizzas are amazing. Generous delicious appetizers. The entire staff is friendly and make sure you are taken care of. You can sit outside in a covered area to enjoy beautiful weather days or eat inside and enjoy the unique and historic restaurant. Make it your must go place for a great lunch or dinner!!! The venue is in the town that started the gold rush. It has a lot of history and old dwellings. This location is one of the favorites. It has a rustic charm to it that invokes nostalgia, history and a show of old purpose. The food is delicious and pizza is its forte. Their pizzas is the best pizza ever! The stuffed mushrooms were served hot and delicious. Our server was sweet, quick, considerate and honest. Never had slow or bad service there. The dining areas are spacious with plenty of seating. There are booths and tables and there’s a bar. It’s a place you can take family, colleagues and have meetings at. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and inviting for all ages. You’ll see lots of nostalgic pictures from the past and old art that were once used long ago. An old mining shaft is on display too. The bathrooms are located on the ground level by the stairs and the rest are upstairs. There is also outside dining if you prefer. There are 2 entrances. The front and the back. Depending on your time of arrival, you will have to pay for parking.
