“My husband and I dined here for the first time for my birthday. We ordered the Old Fashioned and Huckleberry Martini cocktails, which were so delicious. The rolls (must request) were outstanding. We had the crab cakes to start. Perfect!! I ordered the elk medallions and husband ordered the NY strip. Both cooked perfectly . The elk was so tender and was flavored with a huckleberry vinaigrette. For dessert, I had the brownie and my husband ordered the crème brûlée. Once again, did not disappoint. Our server was so attentive and answered all of our questions, in addition to giving us the history of this wonderful restaurant. A truly wonderful birthday experience, and we will be back! I’m just sorry it took us so long to try it in the first place.”

“The new owners in the past year are doing an amazing job. Some nights they’ve become so popular that they are having a little trouble keeping up but they will break their back to make it up to you. So far the food is very delicious and is my favorite in Evergreen. It’s just too bad they have the same name as a restaurant in Florida that keeps coming up on my web search. I wish they would change their name so everyone knows the difference. ?”

“By far the best vegan breakfast burrito I’ve had. The filling mix contains lots of vegetables, usually root veggies, which can surprisingly be hard to find at restaurants. Some places just add potatoes to a tortilla and label it a burrito. They also have a delicious vegan green chile to try with it.”

“One of the best mom and pop steak house in town , The food is always amazing , the service is the best and the prices are very competitive with other steak house even lower in price then the top steak houses. I can’t enough about this little gem tucked away in a little strip mall. Give 5281 a try , you won’t be disappointed at all. We love there food and drinks.”
