“The hotel is clean, has great amenities, great breakfast, an outstanding pool, beautiful outdoor courtyard, and is conveniently located and surrounded by great restaurants, and the staff were all exceptional! Tammie at the front desk was always so helpful and nice and the gentleman, who had actually just started working at the café, was so nice and had outstanding customer service. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms, especially the one with the balcony, were so warm and inviting! We highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.“

Our server, Alyssa, was inattentive, disengaged, and lacked basic hospitality. She barely checked on our table, didn't seem interested in providing a good dining experience, and made us feel like an afterthought. It was frustrating to receive such poor service when the food was so exceptional. Fortunately, the hostess stepped in, checked on us, and made an effort to turn things around. “Just had dinner with family & everything was incredible. The decor is interesting, there’s tons to look at. Even the mismatched and kitschy dinnerware. We enjoyed the jalapeño poppers, fried pickles and okra. The cauliflower tacos, brisket sandwich, steak mac and cheese and beyond burger were all made perfect and came out hot and quick. They even split my nieces’ mac in separate bowls without us asking. Our server, AJ, was friendly and timely! Thanks for the good time Waterloo 🫶!“
