But Fat BBQ Shack in Lake George has won us over! The brisket was perfectly executed in Texas style, with expert slicing that made all the difference. The burnt ends were a pleasant surprise, with a unique twist - lightly sauced and served with onion slices. And the burger? One of the best I've ever had, thanks to the pit master's dedication to grinding brisket daily for the patty. We're self-proclaimed KC BBQ snobs, but we're happy to give Fat BBQ Shack our enthusiastic stamp of approval.
