We booked for breakfast at 10.00am on a Saturday morning and were seated and our order taken within five minutes. The food was cooked to perfection and arrived within twenty minutes along with the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. The staff were extremely polite and very friendly and everyone who entered the cafe was seated with with the minimum of fuss. We traveled up to Castleton in the Peak District for the weekend with friends. We decided to have lunch in Roe’s café and what a fantastic welcome. We got from the delightful Angela. We enjoyed some Northern banter with her so great. We chose the steak ciabatta for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. The weather was excellent so we sat in the real garden which was the most beautiful setting. We had a delightful lunch and highly recommend this café.

Amazing food and service. The gluten free options were incredible and I was really taken seriously when I mentioned coeliac. The lady with the catch kidston glasses on (sorry I didn’t catch her name!!) was amazing and made everyone at the table feel so welcomed.
