“Great beers, lots of different takes on German style lagers and local IPA’s. Good variety, not a lot of high ABV options. Very comfortable bar and inviting patio (too hot today). Two monster fire pits that would be great on cool Colorado evenings. Food menu was satisfying and not expensive. Will be back!“

“I love Spice Trade. it's pretty far to travel for me to get there, but well.worth or every time. I bring everyone who comes to visit us in CO there, it's perfect for my Girls Nights Out, and perfect for lunch with family and friends as well. My fellow likes to go there for the brews, I love the foods (ok, and brews...meads...wines...and cocktails too 😉). Chris the GM is outstanding and he probably doesn't know it but he's offered me 3 tours of the brewery when I was there with my girls/fam/friends. I've taken him up on that every time. 😊 I also love the wait staff, they're personable and often times it's a family affair. I highly recommend this place!“

“This place is definitely unique and that’s wonderful. Metal is the only music option here, don’t even try to change things up. In my experience it’s a welcoming and safe environment despite the initial look of the place. When you look around you warm up to it and see all the different stuff that’s been added to the place- the walls and such. I appreciate that there’s an outdoor space. The people who work here are friendly. The pizza is good. The wings are INSANELY good. There’s a heavy metal flea market here the last Sunday of the month. It’s a pretty cool place - I’m a repeat customer and will continue to go back. They also make good beer, don’t forget that part, but I figured that’s a given. It’s a safe space to be LGBTQ+ in this space. From what I can tell, hate won’t be tolerated at Black Sky, and I’m here for it.“

“Adding my review here since Google maps isn't enough!! Amethyst, Marina and Ryan were all top tier players in our fantastic experience at Briar Commons. We each had a strawberry rhubarb blonde beer, shared the buffalo cauliflower app and the fried chicken sandwich. Between the A+ hospitality, excellent service and delicious food, we came back a second time for the same meal over again. Briar Commons will definitely be a stop every time we come to Colorado! “we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“
