“It was okay. Nothing bad nor anything extraordinary. I got the porkchop and it was made medium just as requested but didnt pack much flavor. I did have to ask for salt. I also ordered bacon wrapped asparagus, and it was 3 asparagus wrap together in 1 piece bacon for $8. There are very strict table time limits of 1.5hr or 2hr depending on party size, so service is quick. And I cant go without saying, the drinks need more alcohol. A margarita in a tall glass means its all juice. For $15+ more is prederred.“

“Our Grand View experience was our best anniversary dinner ever! We started with the Foundation's Potatoes and Leek Soup that will have you coming back for more, it was superb. Wife had the Seared Duck Breast while I had the Australian Wagyu Denver Steak, both cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and courteous service. Awesome place to share special moments. “Wonderful experience at La Taverna - great service and food to match. Our waiter, Penwell, was attentive and welcoming as was the manager who stopped by our table to check in. We enjoyed two meals at La Taverne during our stay at the Broadmoor and both the service and food were consistently first class. Of special note, try the Manhattan if you're so inclined.“
